Talking Jobs

Harnessing
the power of stories

Talking Jobs is an independently produced CEIAG resource designed to help KS3 and KS4 PSHE and Citizenship teachers deliver meaningful and impartial work-related learning. The approach rests on helping young people challenge stereotypes and assumptions through comparing a series of in-depth video case studies exploring people’s working lives, their experience in education and their family backgrounds. It can be used in the classroom, ICT suite or at home as preparation for classroom debate. Access to this online resource includes a series of lesson plans and independent activities written to the National Framework for Careers Education.
